General PurposeElectrically Isolated Transducers

Robust metal sensing diaphragm
within a small stainless steel
disc shaped housing

Excellent frequency response and simple to use for standard manometry as well as ambulatory recording.

These Gaeltec Devices pressure transducers can be used in a variety of applications including physiological measurements as the sensor is electrically isolated from the housing.

Two versions are available:

  • MT-12 which is 5mmdia x 1.2mm thick
  • MT-16 which is 12.7mm dia x 2mm thick with tapered edges

Alternative sizes can be made to order.

Sterilisation is by means of cold aqueous solutions of detergicide (e.g. Cidex) or by ethylene oxide gas. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution.
